Re: What did you do today.

A quick update from me, since I've been neglecting the hobby (again). I moved to Tokyo today to start a new (much better paying) job, so my Kansai games are officially over. Nagoya is also going to be a harder trip, but I should still be able to make Naghammer. I also got engaged - yay! I'll be gett...

Re: Kansai 40k, October 6th at Higacchi Games

Actually, it looks like I'm going to have to skip out on tomorrow's game. Business is keeping me in Tokyo a little longer than I expected, and I won't be getting back to Osaka until tomorrow evening.

Oh well, it doesn't seem like anyone else was planning to come this time either. ;)

Re: Kansai 40k, July 14th at Higacchi Games

No need to apologize. Some other time, eh? The manticore is an artillery piece, 2d6 shots, s10 -2ap d3 damage, doesn't need line of sight to fire. For comparison, a leman russ is 2d6 shots, s8 -2ap d3 damage but is tougher than the manticore. Either one is about 150 points. I don't really know the k...

Re: Kansai 40k, July 14th at Higacchi Games

Only one other player showed up this time around, so we played two back to back games. In the first game, my guardswomen trounced some ultra-heretical ultramarines. (Actually, it was a very close game on points, and I would have lost if we ended on turn 5.) In the second game, a single imperial knig...

Re: What did you do today.

We had a nice shake in Osaka to wake us up yesterday morning. No casualties in my army, and we only lost one glass cup in the kitchen.

I'm still working very slowly on painting my troops, but there's nothing worth taking pictures of yet.

Re: What did you do today.

Me and my girlfriend are taking turns doing playthroughs of Detroit: Become Human since it only allows one save file at a time. I just finished a run, so it's her turn now. Back to painting! I got a few goodies in the mail, but I won't be doing anything with them until I finish painting my troops (w...

@job, dave
Thanks for the encouragement! I'll keep posting monthly (or so) in the hope that someone from the Naghammer group can eventually make the trip.
If nothing else, it gives me an excuse to post battle reports, which is always fun. ;)
