Re: The Golden Age of TV. So, what are you watching?

Just finished Raised by Wolves. Ridley Scott. It was a little slow at times but it kept my interest for 10 episodes and was a relatively relaxing piece of TV visually. Not sure I really warmed to any of the characters. The android character Father was totally relatable. He just wants to be useful. T...

Re: What did you do today.

Very nice work Jus. You are steel. Great painting Prim. That's a lot of models. Dave those are cabinet worthy. Well done. Today I was given a new laptop from my company for working from home. It was an auspicious moment as up until today I've been using my beloved Dynabook Toshiba from Japan which I...

Re: Board Games in Japan???

Have a look online for Kansai JIGG. They did have a thriving community and an annual event each year in Osaka. They would be able to point you in the right direction. I think there's a Tokyo JIGG as well. Nagoya Hammer is the best event obviously for tabletop wargames. Yellow Submarine shops are goo...

Hi Jus, great to hear from you. Good going on the John Hurt Space Marine. I watched I Claudius for the first time last year. Yes, fish and chips and cream teas are one of my main reasons for being in the UK at the moment. 😂 Stay safe everyone.

Re: The Golden Age of TV. So, what are you watching?

I love this thread. I finished 10 seasons of TWD. Season 11 hasn't been shot fully yet due to California closing last summer. Now enjoying Ridley Scott's Raised by Wolves and Pickard. Both storylines are about androids so it's quite relaxing. My main show last year was a 1980s historical drama about...

AGP that flag and those Space Wolves. Looking classic mate. Well done.

Great work everyone. All looking really good.

My niece chose a mini and decided to paint up this Stone Golum like a Space Golum.

The Spear Ashigaru have their work cut out.

Re: New Year's Resolutions - Ongoing Thread

Exercise more, eat less junk food. Carry on with only having a drink on special occasions. Study something new to keep the little grey cells going. Paint more of course. Happy New Year everyone. Well done for making it through 2020. It's been tough for all. It's been 5 years, missing you all dearly ...
