Re: Mtg arena open beta

I like the Godzilla artwork, but I'm not sure if I'll be using it. It's like the MLP card sleeves they did for charity a while back, or some of the super-cutesy Secret Lair artwork (Leonin Warleader anyone?), it will appeal to some, but will be a turnoff to others. As I guess I'll be getting the Are...

Re: Mtg arena open beta

Anything prior to Ixalan would be preferable. No particular requests for colours though.

Re: Mtg arena open beta

A uB hand-hate deck. Let me guess... I have seen a lot of mono-black hand-hate decks in Ranked Historic recently, using Waste Not to generate tokens, mana and card draw, and a bunch of discard effect cards. As I was mainly playing Rakdos Aggro I had no trouble with it, by turn 3-4 I was generally to...

Yeah, I went from "wait, wasn't there a good mail order place someone mentioned?" to having the goods in my hands within 24 hours. Good show, Ring Tail.
Yep, it's a great service.

Re: Mtg arena open beta

Last weekend I played a couple of games against Kojibear using some starter decks and some of my own builds. I'm happy to say that he beat me a few times. :D Yesterday I tried the workshop event where you could choose one of four pre-cons which had the 4-card rule removed and had 10+ of certain card...

Re: The Golden Age of TV. So, what are you watching?

I finished Picard and season 2 of Altered Carbon last night, and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. Sure, the foreshadowing in Picard was a little heavy handed, but aside from that it was a pretty solid show.

Re: NagoyaHammer 2020 - May 10th - Planning the other day

Turns out it may be difficult for me to attend either Nagoyahammer day this year for two reasons: 1. I am buying a house the day after and moving soon after that. Substantially possibility that I will be mega busy and that my gaming things will all be packed. 2. My spouse is giving birth on roughly...

Re: What did you do today.

So, my little painting challenge finished last week. I still have a few minis that I painted that I haven't shared yet, so here they are. Some Royal Marine Commandos for WW2 in Burma. http://i.imgur.com/Ylagwbyl.jpg Some oddly painted 15mm US Airborne, (The challenge task called for an alternate uni...
