Re: Mtg arena open beta

I ordered a bundle box of Ikoria, and will get a couple of single packs once they’re on sale, so’s I can play sealed against someone. Assuming we’re not all self isolating by that point, I suppose  I started typing out a list of what I had for trade, but it got stupid long. Baaaaasically, I ha...

Re: New paint on very old models

I think I maybe rolled it up as some kind of daemon prince of nurgle? I honestly can’t recall. It may have been a whfrp thing *shrug* Glad to hear containment isn’t too bad, so far, although I totally hear you on the separation of work and home thing. I like to be able to leave things behind when I’...

Re: New paint on very old models

    You must’ve had those minis since forever! Well done on finally getting some slap on ‘em. And yes, I have fond memories of that plague elemental being horrifically overpowered. And also of actually painting it. It’s a remarkably gribbly model, actually, and you’ve done it (an...

Re: Mtg arena open beta

I need a bit of thinking time to process them properly, but my first reactions are : me no likey Gojira. I have no issues with the big mook personally, but he can stay the hell away from my MtG. I appreciate it’s just a renamed promo card, but I’m not a fan of crossing the streams, even to that exte...

Re: Mtg arena open beta

Ooh, marvellous. Let me dig up a list of stuff I have that I’d be happy to trade for it. Do you have any preferred colours or card types or anything?

Re: Mtg arena open beta

I only ever play those events until I get my 1 win. I went with zombies, and first game I got hosed by cats, but I won the second game against elves. The concept is...so-so interesting, but the actual decks are pretty dull. After getting repeatedly trounced while using my ever-so-special-technical-g...

Re: The Golden Age of TV. So, what are you watching?

My mates back in Scotland are all talking about Ozark, too. I'm getting to the point where I may actually check it out.

I finished up Picard today. I really liked it, but then I dont usually like Star Trek, so make of that what you will.

But generally, I like. hammer elves: A big nope on those helmets. Srsly, what were they thinking? Fabulous Bile - *shrug* should've gone much more horror movie mad s...

Re: What did you do today.

If you’re gap filling, milliput is absolutely the way to go. Its water-solubility makes it so easy to smooth out onto the base surfaces.

Re: NagoyaHammer 2020 - CANCELLED!!

Absolutely the sensible decision in this case, Stu. Unfortunate, to be sure, but realistically it was pretty unavoidable. Hopefully I get the chance to meet up with everybody later in the year once the current mess has passed us by. Maybe we can even use the time to work on our grey piles of shame? ...
