Re: Nagoya August Games Day: 8/16 at the Naka Lifelong Learning Center

Does anyone want a game of Malifaux, Kill Team, Warmachine, Blood Bowl, or other skirmishy game?

If not, I will probably skip this one, but hopefully see you all in September.

I will be there

I hope to get a game of Blood Bowl in otherwise I will be bringing a Patrol size (25 PL) force for some 40k fun.
Also Rob said to tell you he is coming and he is bringing Blood Bowl.

Sure, from what time? Also, don't be too sure of my rules knowledge! I did skim them over a bit, and there only seem to be a few big changes compared to 2nd ed. Although there are apparently a lot of new "must have" models that I wasn't aware of.
Let's shoot for 12:30.
Sure

Re: July Nagoya Games Day: July 26th in Higashi Betsuin

@The Underdweller Is an afternoon game of Malifaux alright? I'm skyping with friends In the morning. Also, I definitely need to reread the rules. You still probably know more than me just because of your knowledge from 2nd edition. Sure, from what time? Also, don't be too sure of my rules knowledge...

How are you all figuring points values and everything before 9th has officIally come out?

I'm itching for some Malifaux if anyone's interested!
I'd like to give it a try (assuming I can get ahold of the cards and rulebook for 3rd edition in the next few days).

Re: June is ON! 6/28 at the Naka Lifelong Learning Center

Thanks to Balloonacorn, Kojibear and Badruck for the games of Kill Team. It was great to get together and play some skirmish games after all of these months! It was a great learning situation. I would like to try Commanders next time. I might be able to field 6 guys instead of the regular 5. \ Sure...

Thanks to Balloonacorn, Kojibear and Badruck for the games of Kill Team. It was great to get together and play some skirmish games after all of these months! Also to Grantholomeu and Konrad for playing Dead of Winter with me. Odds are I will eventually win a game of it, but even if I don't it's alwa...

That might be me joining in. Ono-san got ambushed by his job, so our Go-Mo game is off. Really don't feel like hauling boxes of toys in the rain, so a board game sounds just right.
Sounds good!

Re: June is ON! 6/28 at the Naka Lifelong Learning Center

@The Underdweller Would 2nd edition Malifaux work with 3rd edition cards, because I only have those. Let's do Dead of Winter and see how it goes. We'll learn something either way. I've only played Dead of Winter once, and it was like 4 or 5 years ago, so assume I'm going to need to be taught all th...

Re: June is ON! 6/28 at the Naka Lifelong Learning Center

@The Underdweller Does Dead of Winter work well with only 2 players? If it does, I'm down, but if not, we could also do a game of Malifaux or 40k. What do you think? I've never tried it with 2 players before - I suppose it would be ok cooperatively. Or I had a look on Board Game Geek and they have ...
