Re: NagoyaHammer 2019 - Kill Team (Friday 3 May)

For the record, I would prefer if there are no commanders in the games I play, as I have only played one game of Kill Team so far, and that was several months ago.

Re: Nagoya April Games Day: April 21 in Odaka

Granthelemu: Thanks for the morning game! Sorry I couldn't give you more of a challenge, but it was fun and helped me to get a grasp on the game again. It also made me appreciate the strategy of passive offense, which I remember having run across much before. Orc Player: Thanks for the afternoon gam...

Re: Nagoya April Games Day: April 21 in Odaka

@Koji: Roger that. I’ve updated the list above. While I’m at it, would you like to play a game? I think the last chance we played a game was BA at Normandy event or the 2017 Nagoyahammer. @ Underdweller: Would you like to play a game in the afternoon? Sure! I was just going to show up and let Dave ...

Re: Nagoya April Games Day: April 21 in Odaka

If nobody minds being used as a guinea pig / being spoiled* for the NagoyaHammer missions, I might like to pair 40K-interested people up for 1000-point games and test out the handouts I'll be using for comprehensibility, see how long games might take, all that boring administrative stuff. *Not that...

Thanks for painting the zombies for me, they look great! The Malifaux crew you posted a little while back looks pretty neat, too.

Re: My thoughts on 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons

I hadn't even thought about it from a DM point of view - having only DMd about 3 sessions in my life! But yeah, I'm sure 5th edition is better for beginning DMs too, because of the balanced classes as well as the simpler ruleset. I'm guessing that 3.5 is a better match for you anyway. Prim, with you...

My thoughts on 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons

A lot of people (well at least 3) have asked me about what I think about 5th edition recently. I have to say that despite appreciating the rules in a lot of ways, I actually enjoy playing 3.5 a lot more still. That is just based on personal experience though, maybe I just having been playing it wron...
