Re: The Golden Age of TV. So, what are you watching?

Just got hold of Series 5 of Endeavour. I did love Inspector Morse when it was first broadcast, and I’ve been enjoying this prequel show.

Re: NH18 - Day 1/May 12th (40K) - Sign Up

I find I have a fairly pointless but mandatory work training day on the 12th. I’ll be busy the following day too, so won’t be able to attend this year sadly.

Re: What did you do today.

Today was the last day of my job at the private high school, which, whilst not game related, is a bit of a thing. It was one of the better places of employment (on reflection probably *the* best) I’ve had here, there were good but not insurmountable challenges and daily interaction with native speak...

Re: Harry Potter from Knight Models (aka FUBARing an IP)

I have had my eye on Hogwash Battles. It looks pretty decent actually, not sure if my wife would give it a go but perhaps she could be enticed. Checked out the KM website and the minis are gorgeous. I note from their FAQ however that the minis are resin, and their reach in terms of shipping and sale...

@Yellowstreak, I’ve sent a PM about my possibly popping in on the 18th so that we can conduct our business and say goodbye, if it’s convenient maybe we can work it out then?

Re: Harry Potter from Knight Models (aka FUBARing an IP)

I have to confess that I am a Potterhead to some extent. I read the books mostly at time of release, listened to Stephen Fry retelling the entire thing on audio a couple of years back, watched the movies (natch), visited the Watford Harry Potter movie set (actually extremely interesting and I sugges...

Re: What did you do today.

Some great offerings here recently. The pox walkers are great models, wonderfully pimped out (by which I mean painted) by MiJ..Really like the look of ToD’s skeletons too. Almost makes one want to try Shadespire. I’ve been grafting away at some Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game minis (as it is now b...

Re: Battle Mats

Actually, I am fine with Prim snagging it. The Alpine design is nice but isn’t quite what I had expected. For some reason I thought it was more like some of the frostgrave mats I’d seen with stone and icy flagstones etc. However, I like the look of those grassy and desert mats. If it’s possible I wo...
