Re: Da WAAAARGH Int. (ORK Talk)

"they out ork orks" is exactly how I would put it, though I've only played the new codex tyrannids once in Kyoto... too much stuff to handle, frankly. It wasn't fun. It was just a case of the other guy advancing..ho hum, I've lost. Ironically it must be the way some other armies feel against orks, s...

Re: Island of Blood

Seems like a good deal for Skaven players in particular.
If anyone out there is interested in splitting a set, I'm game, but I would like to pick up the mini-rulebook which ought to be included and the high elves. Not into the cheese nibblers.

Still open to any ork vs tyrannid advice, if anyone can offer their 2 cents / pennies?

Re: Chaos Dwarves, Araby, and Nippon, anyone?

I bought from perry to pick up some cheaper alternatives to the GW Bret fast cav yeomen, their war of the roses mounted men at arms are excellent sculpts, and worked out much cheaper than the official minis. Recommended to any Bret players out there.

Re: O-Bomb 2010

Hmm, was holding off saying yay or nay but it looks like that weekend I will be going somewhere with my girlfriend, since the day after is my birthday (she wins out over gaming at the moment, obviously that can't last  ). I will come to a future event though for sure. I'm sure O-bomb'll be ano...

Re: Recommend an Empire paint scheme?

Well, I probably won't do the Orion thing that I'm not doing Hochland. Nice model though, which I have no real justification to buy. I would love to see him in your wood elf force.

Re: Chaos Dwarves, Araby, and Nippon, anyone?

There are strong rumours that forgeworld will be handling Chaos Dwarves in future, a new army book and range of models.. should be interesting, if it ever materialises. But no doubt they would be insanely expensive. For Araby fans, well, there is going to be a magic carpet in 8th as a common magic i...

Re: Local Legend, R-Man, Featured On GW`s Site

I second that wow. Brilliant stuff, very inspiring to see and great for Japan to get such a good shout out. It must have been hard for the guy to get into Warhammer before much was readily translated.
The giant in particular is really characterful. I may have to steal that idea for my own empire.

Re: Warhammer 8th Edition.

Paid my stupidity tax and ordered 8th yesterday, the standard book. Couldn't wait for the starter. Maelstrom is probably one of the best deals for us in Japan, it isn't cheap though.
