The guide to the World War Nagoya battlefields is uploaded here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/q965w4t9o9ohh ... e.pdf?dl=0
(if it doesn't render properly in your browser, download it)

There is no guide for Guadalcanal yet, unless we get confirmation of more than 8 players, we'll just use the 4 battlefields.

Hey! Some of my troops are Austrians, Poles and Romanians. (Though ethnically Germans I guess). :lol:
Sorry to hear about the cancellations, but I will definitely be there barring any unforeseen occurrences.

Thanks to Job and Yellowstreak for organising today and thanks to Komura san, Pikey and Yellowstreak for three fun games. I think that all three of my games were fairly close fought despite the end results. My force was fairly fragile with it's small teams and I was lucky that my opponents cracked before I did. It was also fun to fly in the face of the perceived internet opinion that transports are worthless and that Germans have some of the worst national rules in the game.

I had a great day guys, I'm looking forward to defending my title at the next one.

Thanks to everyone who came today (and of course I hope the guys and gals who couldn't can make to some other event soon).

Big thanks to Yellowstreak. I know I paid for the room and discussed things with Y-S, but he took the lead and initiative in most things and not speaking all terrain was pretty much his. It wouldn't have happened without him. Also the terrain layout really worked out really well, and I have to say most of that is because of Justin.

MtP, Komura-san, and Y-S: All the games were close, so I enjoyed them. Mike, you pulled a great tie, although that seems a bit of an oxymoron. Considering your artillery killed 2 of your own units to begin the game, you actually killed more of my units than I did yours. Komra-san, the game was close I loved the epic back and forth to control the bridge. Y-S, that was a very close battle, a bitter urban street brawl.

Prim, I am happy to see the transports worked so successfully.

And thanks to Prim and MtP for the conversation and beers.

Lastly, I'm still going to try and organize a door prize for everyone who came, as I didn't want anyone leaving empty handed. I feel bad I let it fall through for today. Cheers.

A very good time, thanks guys for organizing it, and thanks Stu for lending me an army and order dice. It was a great learning experience, and will likely have a lot of influence on how I expand my army going forwards.

@Justin @Job
Firstly, thank you for organizing this big event.
I've enjoyed three games even my Italian lost.
@Stu @Dave @ Mike
Thank you for gaming or chating me at this event.
All three game lost due to Italian army morale special
rule, I guess.
Could anyone let me know how to win the game by Italian?
