Gripping Beast are going to start shipping Saga II next Monday (12th February) and - get this - the core rule book is only £10. The first supplement, ‘Age of Vikings’ is a bit pricier at £30, but includes 12 battle boards.

Thanks!

The core rules were never that bloated, so 10 pounds seems ok. Getting all of the factions for a period in one go is good if you want to play more than 1 faction, but expensive if you don't.
