Re: NagoyaHammer 2012 - Feedback

I really enjoyed my first (and probably only  ) Nagoyahammer. It was the first tournament I've ever been to and I had a blast. Loved the doubles format and all the missions, which I'd use again for 4-person games. Thanks for all the hard work setting it up and to everyone who participated. I'll...

Re: Reaper Miniatures - BONES

The tamiya yellow/white epoxy was okay to use- but I found it a bit sticky and it took forever to dry ( although maybe I didnt mix it thoroughly enough?), the next product I want to try is the tamiya product that dries when exposed to light. As long as that doesn't mean I'll have to sculpt in the da...

Tamiya makes a yellow/white sculpting epoxy.

Re: Why do you or don't you play 40k?

As to why I play 40k in particular over any other wargme? Probably because it's the first and only I've ever really played. Not that it doesn't have a lot of features that have kept my loyalty, but part of is that I've already made the investment. Of course there's also the matter of it being the mo...

Re: NagoyaHammer 2012 Painting Progress.

Only 8 more terminators left before I meet my Nagoyahammer goal!
Some pics here.

If I make it my birthday, I'm getting myself my two Big Meks for my future ork army!

Re: Free play guidelines.

I'm fine with either.
If the majority want to do a mini tournament, I'd be game (1750 would be perfect).
But I'm also fine with just playing some games.

Re: Free play guidelines.

I will definitely be looking for (40k) fights on day 2! I can do anything up to 2250 without any problem.
Certainly wouldn't mine facing greenskins or any variety of xenos.

Re: Nagoya Games Day - Jan 29th 2012

We're gonna try to be there all day as well.
I certainly don't mind doubling up on tables or even doing teams (practice for may, anyway).
