Turns out I will have company on the 4th! And since I will probably be wiped out from multiple games of 40k I doubt I will have the energy to play other systems and rules.

I will need to skip Saturday this year. Still on for Friday though.

I have always had a soft spot for Dropzone Commander. It's a sci-fi wargame like 40k but with a focus on using VTOL transports to ferry the tiny models over big distances. A late addition, but AwesomeCakeMan and I are going to play a narrative scenario between his Space Marines and my Tau. Sounds like it will be a bloodbath!

I am planning to bring some freshly painted space marines. I can put together 2000pts at least.

My spouse is participating in a naginata tourney on that day, so I will be on child care detail. I can't bring the boy to kibbitz, either, because he is 3, genki, and loves to bash models against each other to make them fight.
