Re: Revolting Americans (And some pretty awful British as well)

Re: Revolting Americans (And some pretty awful British as well)

Judging by the size of the apartment I’m likely to be getting in Osaka, board games might be the way to go. I don’t think I’m going to be refighting Leipzig at home anytime soon...

Re: Revolting Americans (And some pretty awful British as well)

Apologies for the lengthy silence. I’m going to have to back out of this project unfortunately. I’m moving down to Osaka next weekend. Do you know if there’s much of a gaming scene in Osaka?

Re: Revolting Americans (And some pretty awful British as well)

Sorry for the sluggish response. Work and all that... You know how it is. Like I said, I’m OK with either side. The one box of plastics + mentioned in your initial post sounds good to start with. I’ve posted a snapshot of stuff I’ve already got which we might be able to make use of. The generic 18th...

Re: Tripping the Light Fantasy Plastics

The guys in ‘Broken Bayonets’, the KL group, are saying lots of nice things about a range of plastic fantasy miniatures called Oathsmark. Nice-looking goblins and I think they do dwarves as well. 30 figures a box.

Re: A new edition is coming... Saga?!? discussion thread.

Gripping Beast are going to start shipping Saga II next Monday (12th February) and - get this - the core rule book is only £10. The first supplement, ‘Age of Vikings’ is a bit pricier at £30, but includes 12 battle boards.

It’s a nice-looking range. I’ve had a hankering for them for a while now. It’s a shame that Aoshima don’t make their 1/35 scale samurai sets any more. They would be alright for skirmish games as well. I’ve been in correspondence with Aoshima on the subject this week as I was eyeing them for a school...

Re: Torii VS. Test of Honour

Just a thought. If you are thinking about skirmish gaming then Steve Barber Models do a nice samurai range in 40mm.
