Re: Welcome
Hi Andy and welcome! We regularly play 40K but lots of other games too, so you should have some chances to roll dice in some demo games even before you're reunited with your bugs

Re: April 19 Nagoya Gaming Day
For 40K we've always been happy to add more players to our 60x44 games to get everyone playing...and we've usually had to because the extra players arrive late  It takes a while to set up a table, deploy and get started so there should be a window where we can reconfigure to free up tables if w...

March 2026 Nagoya Games Day - 29th of March, e-able
The next game day is on the 29th of March in the Daikaigishitsu at e-able (our normal venue in Higashi Betsuin), from 9-4. 500 yen to participate but free to hang out! Come one come all. February was a huge turnout for 40K with three tables running in both sessions, 2K per side and usually making te...

Re: What Did You Do Today?
Looks great! But yes, even I have reluctantly concluded I can't skip the wash step on base texture. Soaks up a lot of Nuln Oil! I painted 81 models in January, so I'm feeling reasonably good about my 40K backlog (let's not talk AOS or terrain). What I didn't do was figure out an easy way of sharing ...

Re: Welcome
Welcome Aaron! As mentioned we play pretty casual though I think a few folks (not me) could give you a run for your money if you provoked them to exercise those muscles
You're very welcome either way!

Re: January 2026 Nagoya Games Day: 1/18 at e-able
Good to see everyone and thanks to Al and Nicholas for the games! With two 2K games I didn't get much chance to chat around them but still a good time seeing so many folks rolling dice.

Re: New Year's Resolutions - 2026 Edition
Sounds good to me - while I'm a heavy Discord user I've never really stopped being a forum user in general (particularly rpg.net where I first ran into Dave), so I'm happy to use both and see both flourish. The thing that's actually hurt me for posting here was annoyances with Imgur, so I haven't be...

I mentioned on Discord already but I won't be able to make it - have been working my way through a cold the last few days. See you in December!
