Re: What did you do today.

that piggy house is fantastic! Very characterful and just the ticket for a bunch o hog-lovin gremlins :D

Tiny guns are also cool. They just lack for piggies...

Re: NH24 - Side Games (Fri May 3rd) Planning Thread

Malifaux sounds good to me on the non-40k day. I'm very much focussed on getting my 40k stuff painted, though, so I may not have the biggest crew available for Mali. But I'm keen to play a bunch of games, though :)

Re: What did you do today.

Cool, and many thanks :) That sounds doable. I'll look into getting something set up, and if all seems good, I'd be very keen to try a game some time. I'll let you know how it goes (probably in the next few days, all going according to plan. Once I get the setup sorted, hopefully we can find mutuall...

Ah, ok. Many thanks for the clarification. If we're playing secondaries as per the leviathan rules then it's all good. I was just wondering if you were planning on pre-setting them per table. Coolio 👍

Re: What did you do today.

I'm absolutely in agreement that the cards help a lot, to the point where I've spent quite some time "cardifying" all the relevant rules, printing them out, and sleeving them (I'm aware I could just buy datasheet cards etc, but I've got 5 factions to get cards for, and an abundance of MtG cards/slee...

Re: What did you do today.

I managed a wee bit of painting yesterday, and I'm actually mid-game (well, early-game) against my kids' combined arms force of Necrons and Space Marines. I'm trying to get the hang of objectives, but so far we're at the top of turn 2 and I've already forgotten to attempt to set a teleport beacon :l...

Re: NH24 - 40K (Friday May 3rd) Details

Hello! I've actually been reading/studying up a bit on 10e 40k recently, and my travels across the rules-i-verse have led me to a question regarding secondary objectives. The Naghammer rules laid out above say that all missions and secondary objectives will come from the Leviathan Mission rules. My ...

Re: What did you do today.

oooh, crons... Sean (my eldest) just put together that Chronomancer today, as it happens. I'll likely be playing against it tomorrow. I'm keen to get some practice in with my dark eldar before the May event. Not that I have any aspirations of being good, or owt, I just don't want to be fumbling thro...

Re: Hello!

howdy howdy! Nice to make your aquaintance. As YS mentioned, there's a game day next week that'd be a good opportunity to pop in and say hi to folks. Unfortunately I won't make it this month myself, but maybe next month? And I'll defo be there in golden week for the Nagoyahammer event weekend thingy...

Re: What did you do today.

Thanks for the kind words. And aye, the bases on my mali stuff is just green stuff roughly spooged into shape. I originally did my showgirls' bases more carefully, sanding them flat etc, but now when I just have one or two to do they tend to end up a bit wobbly cos I'm often rushing it and can't be ...
