@Spevna: Yeah, I was a little worried booking on Saturday, but that was when the room was available. I'll have to take a day off for it myself.
No worries mate. Needs must, and all that :)

If next year's is on a Sunday, I'll be there with bells on!

Re: What did you do today.

This evening I got rather drunk and once I got home I ordered the new Eldar triumvirate. Don't regret it yet, neither, although to be fair it's still only ten past two... I haven't entirely given up on buying that just for the blue cat ... Meanwhile, I blew a couple of months' budget on this: http:...

When you consider the size of the model, there really is no excuse for a face that badly carved.

Have a look at the faces on the old 54mm Inquisitor minis, and they are miles better.

Re: Fantasy Wargaming - How do you like it?

I voted for units of around ten, and rules where units trump heroes. I'm not against playing games with larger units, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Painting up several smaller units is more fun than painting up a few large ones for me. If I were to go with bigger unit games, I'd probably go fo...

Re: Cold Turkey-ish

You know, all this talk of cold turkey, is kind of making me go cold turkey too...sure there's a few games here and there. But there's just no passion. Maybe i should just sell my stuff like most people are doing... I traded my RT orks with Lovejoy, but I've kept my Space Marines. I may not be be k...

Re: When was 40K best? Aka the Nostalgia Thread.

It's between RT and 2nd ed for me. RT comes with everything you need in one book. Different races, weapons and armour, and vehicles are all covered. The small model count is a big plus for me too. Each mini on the board is a distinct individual, kitted out however you like. 2nd ed is nice and simple...

Re: 2016 Resolutions!

For the coming year, I've got a few things simmering. 1. Dredd. I want to get two more gangs painted for this, a load of East Meg judges, and small group of sky-surfers. 2. Saga. This is almost done. I need to get two or three more units done for it before I have a complete Celt army. 3. WHFB. The ...
