Re: Izakaya-Hammer 2024

With the caveat that they might keep me at work late, I'd like to get in on that case-of-champagne action.

Yeah I'm still torn between Underworlds and playing random games that I normally ignore for 40k.
Right, just didn't want you to worry about fussing with the twitter thing or not. :D

Re: NH24 - Other Games (Sat May 4th) Planning Thread

An Underworlds update for Stu’s panic reduction ;) Currently we have 5 definites (including me) and 2 maybes, plus I don’t know how many (but probably not many) who are thinking of coming but haven’t signed up to my twitter event thingie. (Jye, I’m counting you as a maybe even though you haven’t sig...

Re: NH24 - Other Games (Sat May 4th) Planning Thread

Looks like we might have a good few people coming to Underworlds (I should know for sure after tomorrow's meetup). They're mostly Japanese, and we'll be playing mostly in Japanese, but if any interested / lapsed players want to throw their hat in the ring I could very easily lend you an easy-to-use ...

Hmm. Actually I'm getting a wisdom tooth out the day before (whee!) so I may just show up to hang out if I feel up to it, and bring Underworlds for a game or two with that crew.

Re: April 2024 Nagoya Games Day - 4/21 at e-able

Whoops, forgot to post it, thanks!

I'm not sure yet if we'll have an Epic game - our playing pace is outstripping our slow-grow collecting and painting pace - but whether or not I bring Epic I'll be bringing along Kill Team I think. And also maybe Underworlds?

Speaking of, here's one of those warbands, some good skellingtons in the form of the Sons of Velmorn:

Re: What did you do today.

I haven't been painting much, but did take advantage of my family visiting Fukuoka (I had work and couldn't go) to monopolize the dining room table and do some solo board gaming over the weekend. Notably, I tried my first campaign of Darkest Dungeon with the Crimson Court expansion, and it is every ...

In the grand tradition of getting things done just in time for Nagoya games day, I finished up a bunch of Solar Auxilia support for Epic this week. Re: What did you do today.

Painting has been in another "nothing high priority to paint" slump, so I've been playing a bunch of Baldur's Gate 3. The Forgotten Realms is a deeply deeply silly setting, and the game seems to expect you to know and care about it rather more than I do, but the combat is fun and it's hard to argue ...
