Re: March 2024 Nagoya Games Day - 3/24 at e-able

I'll be there this month with my usual 40k stuff. I've also been wanting to try Killteam again for a while now, so if there's games going around I'd be happy to try them out. I'll bring my stuff then - maybe we can get a critical mass going. Jus wanted to play too, but I think he was only available...

Re: Printed Neoprene (or other) Mats

I guess my first instinct would be that that's a good use for that one fold-up board you have that's falling apart - replace it and cut it up neatly into its 8 little sections, and use those as terrain bases?

Re: March 2024 Nagoya Games Day - 2/24 at e-able

@Dave you muight want to update the title of the post to 3/24! As I'd like to join the 40K fun at Nagoyahammer, I better actually have a couple of games of 10th beforehand. So if anyone is willing to take a 10th newb through a game or two i'd appreciate it. I figure 2 smaller-sized games is batter ...

March 2024 Nagoya Games Day - 3/24 at e-able

Hi all, The March Nagoya games day will be Sunday, March 24th, at e-able as we've been doing for a bit, in Meeting Room 4. As usual we'll have the room from 9 to 4:30, and it'll cost 500 yen for the day if you play any games, and nothing if you just come to visit. I've planned a game of Epic in the ...

A good day! I basically just got underfoot when you three were playing 40K, but also had a couple very fun games of Underworlds against one of the Ichinomiya guys.

Re: What did you do today.

So here's the terrain... t'rain  I have to admit, a nice solid piece of MDF makes for a much better base than a hunk of corrugated cardboard. https://i.imgur.com/XBvoOOt.jpg https://i.imgur.com/UKYIz8D.jpg https://i.imgur.com/pAqdC6q.jpg (Can you tell I didn't have enough foliage to fill out al...

Re: What did you do today.

My sister's been visiting, so I haven't been doing too much hobby, but I have been rebasing and repainting some of my more long-in-the-tooth Epic terrain. (You can get 2mm-thick MDF in A5-sized sheets ten to a pack for about 1500 yen, for those interested in the terrain-basing arts.) Then they (fina...
