Re: Opinions please.

I've played a number of games against an army much like that. I've found that to beat it I need a lot of S5-6 shooting spread across a lot of different units. If you can't reliably bring down 4-6 vehicles a turn it isn't long before you lack the fire power to stay in the game. It's like a war of att...

Re: How GK psy-shock weapons work?

Yeah Im inclined to agree. Just as the Culexus Assassin only gets +1 shot for the unit. I think we get the sweet side of it along with the bitter. Not to mention those missiles would otherwise be utterly devastating in GK mirror matches.

Re: How GK psy-shock weapons work?

This is actually in the GK FAQ. Basically the perils and wounds are handled separately. The perils happens to any psyker hit and then wounds occur separately. You can easily use this to "snipe" a librarian out of a unit. What I'm wondering is whether GK units with the Brotherhood of Psykers rule tak...

Re: Hello from Nagano!

That is a neat blog! Though I think Toyama is pretty far from here. The only one I found on Jorudan is several hours by train. Nagoya is pretty easy though. I ride four hours to Yokosuka to play from time to time and it's more than 4 hours and over 10,000yen. That's actually where my group is. To my...

Re: Hello from Nagano!

I wish I could make it to NagoyaHammer 2012, but I'll have to wait until next year as I have travel plans already. I'd love to come out and play sometime though. I saw there are smaller events each month. If I can I'll try to come check it out sometime. I also let my Yokosuka group know about the si...

Hello from Nagano!

Hi there! I found out about your site through me_in_japan's comment on a CMoN thread. I knew there must be gamers outside Yokosuka, but I hadn't gotten around to looking. Right now I live near Kiso-Fukushima which is like an hour from Matsumoto. I'm into pretty much any aspect of 40k and I play Elda...
