Re: December Games Day: 12/26 at e-able Nagoya

Sure, I'll see what sort of lists I can cobble together with the stuff I have. What points limit should I aim for? I could probably do around 2000-ish max without it being mostly titans. 2000 definitely works! So... I ended up buying more stuff and now I'm at the point where I could field 2000pts w...

Re: December Games Day: 12/26 at e-able Nagoya

@Dave, actual Epic this time? I might need to get a few more units ready by then but sure. Btw which ruleset did you want to use? The one on epic-uk or net-armageddon? The base ruleset is the same AFAIK - the only real differences between them are the army lists. I prefer epic-uk's myself for tight...

Re: The Golden Age of TV. So, what are you watching?

I ended up watching all 9 episodes last Sunday and it was better than I expected. I used to play League of Legends and thus have some prior knowledge of the characters but like Dave said it's totally fine even without. (I still wouldn't recommend playing LoL if you value your blood pressure staying ...

Re: November Games Day: 11/21 at e-able Nagoya

I won't be able to make it to November's game day but I should be able to make it to December's (since I'll finally be fully vaccinated.)

Re: Gauntlet 2.0

Sorry for the late post, I've unfortunately been busy with some stuff and wasn't able to submit an entry either. Here's the voting link though and even though it's a bit short but I'll keep voting will be open until the 8th of November. Going forwards I'm going to take a bit of a break so if anyone ...

Re: What did you do today.

I actually meant to ask about PVA glue too. What brands actually dry clear and matte? I'm usually cheap when it comes to terrain and so I just use cheap wood glue (木工用ボンド) that comes in the yellow bottles. It should be mostly clear (not sure about matte) once its dry but if you're painting over it ...

Re: What did you do today.

Anyone know what brand paints would stick to wood well? A place near my work has those wooden puzzle things where you pop the pieces out of a board and make something like the Eiffel Tower or whatever. They have one that's an old tugboat, and I thought it could make a great piece of terrain, like i...

Re: What did you do today.

Someday I may paint miniatures again. Very relatable... I've been stuck on video games, trying to learn how to play Warhammer Fantasy RPG in Japanese, and one other side project of mine. Here's the latest result of that side project just to prove that I haven't been sitting on my hands the en...
