I have scraped together 1000pts of 40k 10th edition compatible but probably not competitive Space Marines. I am looking for 2 or 3 games. I have no idea what I am doing in 10th so be forewarned.

I like the scale and the fact you can take titanic units with ease ( I remember have epic scale greater daemons a long time ago) but how do the rules distinguish themselves from 40k or HH? Is it the same game on a different scale or are there tangible differences.

1. You have to take a character model. After that, you can take whatever you want. Units will be of a fixed size, and there are maximums you can take as Jye mentions. 1 of each Epic Hero, 6 for Battleline units and 3 for everything else.
