Way too far ahead for me to know if I can make it, but I'd certainly be interested in helping out/demoing with Kill Team/Warcry/Underworlds on the free play day.
And I guess I'm making a real 40K army after all

Re: Shadespire
As a Molog player who is all surge objectives all the time, I think Championship format actively stopping me from playing as I normally do is an excellent idea and will help the game. I think even for casual play I'll make my "main" deck fit Chamionship, and then use the leftover cards to give fluff...

Re: WarCry
One of the things I like about the skirmish games is they fit whatever hobby time I have. If it's one game at lunch, great. If it's a slightly lazier game or two on Friday afternoon, cool. If it's a solid games day, I'll play 4-8 games and rotate factions continuously. I'm not against crunchier rule...

Re: Plamojuku October Events
I will actually make it to neither, I'm in Malaysia for work because apparently the universe doesn't want Dave and I to ever be in the same place

Re: What did you do today.
I went out to Plamojuku, bought a bunch of stuff, and spent hours trying to get a bit of colour on some plastic. I'll need considerably more time but should end up with some Orruks that look like toffee apples and a bunch of vaguely Space Wolf coloured covered crates, barrels and Munitorum Container...

Re: Plamojuku October Events
I *should* be going to both, and since my Underworlds stuff showed up from Australia I should be able to play both games.

Re: September Games Day: Sept 22nd in Higashi Betsuin
Back of the envelope looks like I have about 1500pts of Space Marines (if desperately short of Troops since that is not a thing in Kill Team ^_^), so if next time more people are looking to play the big game than the skirmish games I should be able to throw together something playable.

Aeronautica Imperialis is a fun game, there's a lot of depth in that manoeuvre system but having to make decisions while executing them provides a valid and interesting differentiation to Xwing. Thanks for the game, Karantu!

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/09/19/beastgrave-the-new-season-and-yougw-homepage-post-1/ New season rule changes look good. Flippable objectives and placeable lethal hexes look like they make things more interactive, should be less of that "we're placing objectives even though neither sid...
