Absolutely! Just let me know when you're coming!

Re: AT-43

I do like the minis and would be keen to give it a whirl. Out of interest, what size armies are you looking at for a standard game of AT-43 (model count) and how much would said army cost? Depends on the army of course, but a typical 2000-point force might be 3 squads of 8-10 infantry and a couple ...

Other gaming sites in Japan

Hi all, I thought I might make a topic to share other sites by and for gamers in Japan. I'll start us off with one some of you may know: Realm of Rman , which was set up by one of my friends from my Fukuoka days. It's all in Japanese, but there is a bulletin board, and most importantly a huge galler...

Let me know if you're coming down to Nagoya some time! I'll bring my stuff along.

AT-43

Hey, a thread for another game only Dave plays! :D (I'm led to understand by some of my Japanese gamer friends from my Fukuoka days that there are/were some folks playing in Tokyo, so you never know. May as well see if there are any other interested folks, right?) This is sort of my pet 28mm scale s...

Re: My Epic Guard

OOooh, I know the answer to the clipping problem. The forum can only display images up to 600 pixels in width (well, 6hundred and something, but I figured at 600 for safety.) i had exactly the same clipping problem when I uploaded my nurglies first. I had to resize them on the PC, and then re-uploa...

Re: Malifaux

For those of you who have no idea what Malifaux is, it is a steam-punk style skirmish game. It's main standout feature is that it uses a set of playing cards rather than dice for all in game effects. If you dont like the cards you draw, you also have a limited ability to change those cards. Once yo...

Re: Malifaux

I've got Sonia Criid and her Witch Hunters. I'd like to expand them with some guys a bit less focused on killing casters - I'll probably get a couple-few hard-hitting Outcastes at some point.

Re: (sound of crickets chirping)

Yeah; one of the problems with a game with a long history and multiple rulesets with non-trivial differences is that you end up with people liking one version over another. Personally I just *love* Armageddon's command and control rules and alternating activation order - everything else is just grav...

(sound of crickets chirping)

Well, on the off chance that there's more Epic fans lurking or passing through, or any folks who're curious about Epic, here's a topic! Hi, my name's Dave, and I have a soft spot for tiny tiny models. By Epic: Armageddon reckoning, I have about 7-8000 points each of Blood Angels, Steel Legion, Orks ...
