Re: 40k team Tournament in Fukui

Oh, oh, were those Arbites surrounding that medieval farmhouse? Arbites standing on a red-brick street? That was surreal.

Re: 40k team Tournament in Fukui

How you had the teams set up was interesting. I always loved the doubles games we'd do for Nagoyahammer. (....even when Rob and I came in dead, dead, dead-as-a-doornail last that time.......) The pre-tournament trash-talk being my favorite part!

Re: October Nagoya Games Day - 10/22 at e-able Nagoya

Anyone feel like doing some sort of Halloween-themed game for October? I was talking to Itakura about like a creeeeepy Frostgrave multi-player, but we ought to save that for Christmas. Back in the old days, we'd do Mordheim. I have this old Cthulu/pulp/skirmish game called Strange Aeons, that is a l...

Re: September Nagoya Games Day: Sunday 9/24 at e-able

Thank you to Jye and Awesomecakeman for an epic game! I think it came down to secondary draws more than anything. I had pretty much nothing left at the end but we foiled Mortarion's dastardly plot before time ran out. Now I'm working on sticking together a bunch of orky scrap Konrad gifted me long ...

Re: September Nagoya Games Day: Sunday 9/24 at e-able

Long time no see gentlemen. I have not played a game all summer, so it was good to finally drag myself out of my sweaty, exhausted August doldrums and roll some dice. Did a quick Stargrave with Itakura. I was so totally kicking his butt I almost did not have time to grab all the loot before he ran a...

Re: September Nagoya Games Day: Sunday 9/24 at e-able

An Ars Magica game set in Eastern Imperial Rome 🤔 Good point! I was thinking circa 100AD. Ben Hur, "I am Spartacus!" sandals and toga stuff. And next he'll tell me Spartacus' revolt was during the Republican Era or something....... Oh, oh how about Prohibition Hollywood! Gangsters and film mo...

Re: September Nagoya Games Day: Sunday 9/24 at e-able

No worries! As and adult, most rpg projects get about as far as, "You know, I would love to run an Ars Majica campaign set in Imperial Rome." and the other folks start talking about the characters they would play. Then it is 8pm and everyone goes home to put the kids in bed and do laundry.

Not even I am entirely immune to the charm of the models themselves.

Especially squigs.

Re: Vidya Games Chat Thread

My 'pooter specs are, "my son's old one that he dropped and the screen won't close anymore". I don't know anything about graphics cards, but it has the one that does not do video games. So my computer gaming is limited to this ancient MMORPG "Age of Conan". Sometimes a man just needs to unwind and k...

I'll try and swing by. Have to check in with Itakura and Ono and see what they are up to. Maybe some Gorkamorka, maybe Stargrave.
@Surg-You still kicking around that idea for a Star Wars RPG game? I'd still be interested. It would be cool to at least page through the rules and geek out a bit.
