Re: Shadespire
https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/09/19/beastgrave-the-new-season-and-yougw-homepage-post-1/ New season rule changes look good. Flippable objectives and placeable lethal hexes look like they make things more interactive, should be less of that "we're placing objectives even though neither sid...

Re: WarCry
Is there any kind of experience system in Warcry? Can you expand your warband at all? The campaign system gives magic items, commander traits and rerolls for your troops, and lets you increase your point limit as you go. The latter resets when you finish your campaign quest and start a new one. The...

Re: WarCry
Glad you had fun! You can get screwed very easily by the card draw for scenario, especially since you don't have that information when you form your team (unlike Kill Team where most factions have answers to most situations and you draw from your roster to suit). There's a couple of approaches to th...

Re: Where do you buy your GW stuff in Nagoya?
I went out to Plamojuku today and managed to play a lot of Warcry. The guys there were very cool and patient with my shaky 日本語 - it helped that the only really difficult thing is the battleplan cards, and that was just a matter of finding the corresponding english card if I couldn't parse the Japane...

Re: Where do you buy your GW stuff in Nagoya?
I made it out to Plamojuku - it's not too bad from Inazawa station, though the walk from Iwato to the store was a bit rough in the heat, and a bit surreal (going past rice fields to reach a game store!). The owner hooked me up with an order and suggested I come back next week for Warcry. Yodabashi d...

Re: Shadespire
I think I'm only missing the Reavers and skellies now so I may as well snap them up when I see them next. Skellies are particularly tempting since that's a chunk of yet another Warcry team.

Re: Where do you buy your GW stuff in Nagoya?
If you have transportation options to get a bit further afield, Plamojuku (http://gorakuou.net/blog/index.php) is a tiny little shop up in Ichinomiya (although he's opening a second shop closer to Gifu station, I believe) that doesn't really carry stock on the shelves but will order in for you at a...

Where do you buy your GW stuff in Nagoya?
Looks like I have a bunch of Warcry stuff to buy in a couple of weeks, but I have no idea where to do it. I've been happily paying the GW tax for a while because I had a good store in walking distance, and I can imagine using the Osaka store as an excuse to eat kushikatsu every now and again, but I ...

Re: Warcry. What's the crack?
I've been playing a lot of Warcry here in Melbourne since its release, hoping to play a lot more in Nagoya, it's a lot of fun! It leans heavier into speed and variety of play than Kill Team; while there's a matched play option that's more balanced, by default you draw terrain layout, deployments, ob...
