Re: November Nagoya Games Day: 11/19 at e-able

I should be there. I'll be aiming to keep playtesting my new game system and refining it some more. Anyone who wants to give it a try is more than welcome. I should be there. And will probably (probably) actually have finished reading the rules by then.... :D Should I bring some toys or terrain?

And...ugh....this pneumonia I have been fighting all month is just not quite dead.
My doctor thought the phrase "walking pneumonia" was pretty funny.
I'm going to bow out this month.
Have fun, everyone.

Re: Warhammer Fantasy Campaign

That was fun! I was a DnD player before I got into miniatures, and I love it when the game is fought with characters and narrative.

Re: Op-En - A New Skirmish Game by Prim

I'm about halfway through them. No questions yet. It's easy to understand. Though the >> << are a little hard to follow sometimes. Once you add some graphics and examples, I think will smooth it out. I'm not familiar with d4,d6,d8.... games. Back in the day, TSR had these "Battlesystem" rules for ma...

Re: October Nagoya Games Day - 10/22 at e-able Nagoya

@Prim- I'd be up to lab-rat the new game. I'll give the rules a download and give those a read once I stop bingeing "Only Murders in the Building" this weekend. @the Mali-folks- I'll bring some spooky terrain I built last year (and have not had a chance to actually use I think). If you want somethin...

Oh, oh, were those Arbites surrounding that medieval farmhouse? Arbites standing on a red-brick street? That was surreal.

Re: 40k team Tournament in Fukui

How you had the teams set up was interesting. I always loved the doubles games we'd do for Nagoyahammer. (....even when Rob and I came in dead, dead, dead-as-a-doornail last that time.......) The pre-tournament trash-talk being my favorite part!

Re: October Nagoya Games Day - 10/22 at e-able Nagoya

Anyone feel like doing some sort of Halloween-themed game for October? I was talking to Itakura about like a creeeeepy Frostgrave multi-player, but we ought to save that for Christmas. Back in the old days, we'd do Mordheim. I have this old Cthulu/pulp/skirmish game called Strange Aeons, that is a l...

Re: September Nagoya Games Day: Sunday 9/24 at e-able

Thank you to Jye and Awesomecakeman for an epic game! I think it came down to secondary draws more than anything. I had pretty much nothing left at the end but we foiled Mortarion's dastardly plot before time ran out. Now I'm working on sticking together a bunch of orky scrap Konrad gifted me long ...
