Well, yesterday's recreation of the battle went the same way as the historical event. The Viking horde broke the Saxon line and chased the fleeing locals all the way back to York. :D

It looked like good axe wielding fun. Surely the gates of Valhalla will be crowded. I suppose Stamford will be next?

You suppose right! But no concrete plans at the moment.
