Bolt Action Tournament - August 15th (Sat)
Re: Bolt Action Tournament - August 15th (Sat)
I like free stuff as much as the next guy, but prizes aren't really a requirement in whether people will turn up or not. It's your money I guess, but I'm coming for the gaming more than anything else.
You might want to try and get in touch with Satoru san (aka Stooge) as he has an IJA force. Kondo san has expressed an interest in playing, but beyond a demo game with me I don't think he has played much/has an army.
For anyone who wants to play, but doesn't yet have their own minis, I have a couple of spare armies I am willing to lend out if you want to borrow them.
Probably, I will be bringing along my 10th SS Panzer Recon Platoon, (unless we end up with too many axis players).

Re: Bolt Action Tournament - August 15th (Sat)
We are hoping warlord will contribute towards it in prize support. Don't expect much, but I am hoping to have something to make the event a bit more what ... Festive. Anyway, getting a prize is at random so everyone has a shot regardless of results.
And maybe the possibility of prizes makes the event more enticing to any player on the fence or starting.
Oh, and thanks for offering to lend armies and even switch sides, although we'll do our best to get you on the Axis side.

<BUMP>
I assume this is still going ahead, right?
I'm a definite starter. I only have one army so I'll bring 1000pts of late war Kiwis.
Oma rapeti, oma rapeti, oma, oma, oma!

Any word from Satoru/Stooge? He is always great company and has a Japanese army.

I'll be bringing Germans unless we suddenly get more Axis players.YellowStreak wrote:Yes it is! Time for a roll call I guess. Confirmed so far are:Mike the Pike wrote:<BUMP>

I'm still interested - sorry I've been silent in the thread. I'd have to borrow some (well, a lot of) Germans from YS or somebody.YellowStreak wrote:

No worries, PM me a list of what you think you will need. I have plenty of basic Heer with a good mix of weapons, a Pak 40, A 251/1 half track, an 8-Rad armoured car, a Puma, A Panzer IVH, a truck and a kubelwagon.The Other Dave wrote:I'm still interested - sorry I've been silent in the thread.
