In this year I'll continue playing BA at Italy and BP at Austrian.
Both Italy and Austrian will expand little by little.
I interest another period game like ECW or war of the roses. But I don't have
enough knowledge to build own collection.
About Napoleonic 100 day, it's tempting one. To join this, I guess I should prepare
Prussian landwehr. At Warlord website, this plastic model is out of stock.
Do anyone have disused landwehr models?
Ah, your Prrussians have been given to Ashmie. Sorry, I tried to paint them but I had to many models and I gave them to Ash because he currently plays a big Prussian force.

Of course I'd love to play 100 days with you. Have you ever thought of painting some French?

You can also use professional Prussian soldiers since the Landwher were just one part of the Prussian army. Perrys do some Prussian plastics.

@Job @Prim Thank you for your comment. That's helps for me.
Looking current status, Ashmie will build farely large Prussians.
At my collection, I'd like to fill the gap. I consider building
small forces of Dutch-Belgian, they fought with British at Waterloo.
I know several company make metal one in 28mm. Also there are
plastic one in 25mm or 1/72 scale. Could I use 25mm plastic one?

Dutch Belgians would be really cool!

I'm fine with 25mm. 28mm 24 figure battalions represent about 170cm 600 man battalions. Why not some 25mm figures? Plus there are a lot more variety of plastic 25mm figures. Anyway, most of the time we see the figures from a meter or more away and a few centimeters can't be really spotted.

1/72 is 20mm scale, closer to flames of war than to any of the makers we currently use. 25mm minis are available in metal in some older ranges of figures, but as a scale is fairly similar to 28mm. A lot of the scales are fairly varied depending on whether you measure to the eyes or the top of the head, a point which has never really been agreed on by the different companies.
Plastics options for Napoleonics are:
Limited selections from Perrys, Warlord and Victrix in 28mm (1/56)
OR
A fairly wide range in 20mm (1/72) from a variety of manufacturers. The plastic tends to be softer than that used for 28s as it is cheaper and easier to mass produce.
Differences between manufacturers at any particular scale may not be noticeable, but between 28s and 20s, it is quite large. With the Waterloo anniversary this year, it's possible that one of the makers may produce Dutch or Belgian troops (Warlord did Hanoverians after all), but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Also, why the interest in starting a new army? So far Komura san's Austrians and Job's French are closer in terms of period than my Brits are to either. While my interest is heavily in favour of the 100 days, both of you have already put a lot of time and effort into building forces that are suitable for earlier campaigns. If Komura san does want to collect for the 100 days, it's probably worth collecting Prussians as there were 120,000 of them in the field, way more than any one of us could realistically hope to collect. Despite wanting to refight those battles, I think Komura san would be better served by getting some cavalry and guns for his Austrians.
None of us have enough troops to fight any of the actions we would like to, be they Borodino, Liepzig or Waterloo. Heck, even if all the troops we used in our last game had been the right nationalities, we still would only have been 1/2 way to doing Quatre Bras, which was just the warm up to Waterloo.

Perhaps it would be better if we all agreed on a specific battle and all focussed on that?

Just my 2 yens worth.

@Prim Thank you for your opinion. That's plactical one.
I understand my priority for Nap collection is to add cavalry and artillery.
I agree your points.
The reason why I'm going to building new Nap army is just I want to join
100 days game. Historically the Austrian less contribute in that campaign.
And, collecting Prussian landwehr is fairly easy to paint bulky volume, I guess.

It's up to you what you buy, but Prussian Brigades were a 1:2 or 2:1 mix of Landwehr and Regular infantry, with Fusiliers mixed in alongside line units.

Dang. Unfortunately just pondering historicals and doing research tempts one (read: me) to break one's resolutions in terms of buying new stuff.

I mean, I only need about 25 pounds worth of stuff from Baccus to have basically a full corps of British (by some games' reckonings).
Feel free to call me Dave!
