I hate it in 40k when that happens and I hate it in FB when that happens as long as there is no nerdy pretentiousness I am in..

I think that a Zulu army would offer plenty of room for conversions and theme. You could do different types of war paint and lots of different positions.

It's funny, my mate played historical but was always embarrassed if his wife or indeed anyone we knew caught him playing skaven in Warhammer. For me the real reenactment thing always seemed to be a step to far from the goblins and dwarves stuff but many historical wargamers view it the other way.
They are two different worlds really, fantasy/sci fi and historical.
For me I wouldn't play historical without my interest in military history which I gained from my historical war gaming mate I used to work with. He used to bang on about Wellington and The American Civil War and ww2 all the bloomin time and some of the stories were pretty interesting.
I'll definitely be up for a game with my Prussians in November Prim so hang in there. Looking forward to it. As the Black Powder Rules say it's a game for battle hardened gentlemen. Preferably with pipes and beards.
Likewise Cutlass is still on my agenda too.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

My second regiment is nearing completion. We'll have to sit down and talk about points values at some stage as well. Now to buy me a pipe! :D

Yep, there is a thread just for them over here. Just waiting for WGF to tool up the moulds and make them. Of course, knowing WGF, they will be A) cheap and B) kinda average quality. Still, plastic samurai are a welcome addition to the range.
