The Brian Blessed thread.

Post by ashmie » Mon Jun 25, 2012 12:27 am

I finally got around to playing Alexander Total War this weekend and I was very delighted to hear Brian Blessed shouting at me as the narrative. Great game and probably the best history teacher ever:

Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

A new Total War? Oooh.
I may have to take a look at that when I get home. If my PC will run it my painting schedule is done for.

And BB is an awesome chap to have doing voices.

No not new, completely passed me by this one. Was released for about 8 quid on the back of Total War Rome some years ago.

It's rumoured that Brian Blessed is to take over as the next Man U manager.
It is just a rumour at this stage.

It is highly unlikely that Mr. Blessed will get the job considering that they appointed the new manager two days ago. David Moyes, the ex-manager of Everton was hand picked by Sir Alex Ferguson and has signed a six year deal with the team.

Mind you, how awesome would it be to have Brian Blessed shouting encouragement from the sidelines? "Get a c%#*ing move on!"

I reckon he'd be an ace manager. I can just see him shouting abuse at the hapless referee :)
