bolt action KMT army list

Warlord games have issued KMT, Chinese national revolutionary army list.
Very interesting for me. It may be my next project after samurai.

Yeah, I saw that. The pdf has some pretty big typos in it. E.g. the green, veteran, inexperienced infantry squad. Hopefully they will get that fixed soon.
I wonder when they will release models for the list. A lot of the minor nations in the Axis/Allies books don't have minis yet or have some very big holes in the range. E.g. Greece, Hungary, Norway etc.

On Greek, Hungarian and Norwegians, I don't really think there's much need or demand. I don't think Warlords Belgians sold very well. moreover these minor factions could easily be modeled with other kits. 1941 Greeks wore uniforms and helmets similar to Italians. Hungarians in '44 were wearing uniforms like the Germans but in browns. Anyway they seem to be the realm of modeling and kit bashing.

Hence me wondering when they will get round to doing models for Chinese. They are probably the most under-represented 'big' nation of the war. Aside from Komura san, I don't know if there will be much demand for them.

Personally, I quite like the idea of doing a Norwegian force. They look like fun, unless of course, the German player brings along a panzer.

Which is of course what the Germans did. Although the Norwegians gave a stiff fight to the Fallshirmjager and Gebrigsjager for awhile I've read. It might be said the French sent some tanks to Norway which fought alongside some Norwegians.

As for the Chinese, I think Voss told me of some interest in them. Also it is mentioned that there are rumors BF will release Chinese for EW sometime soon.

To replesent Chinese KMT army on boltaction, I guess there are three way .
First , use Ceasar ' s 1/ 72 model. that is budget friendly way.
Second, buy warlord early German model and paint light khaki.
Chinese KMT army is strongly influenced by German at early stage.
Third, buy warlord American or British and use it as lend-lease.

I can bring osprey book about Chinese KMT army uniform, if you interest it.

You can use whatever minis you like, (though 1/72 will be too small if you ask me). I was simply wondering when or if, Warlord would do any proper Chinese army miniatures. E.g. Puttees instead of high boots and other cosmetic differences.
