April 19 Nagoya Gaming Day
Re: April 19 Nagoya Gaming Day
I am going to play the last scenario of Frostgrave "the Red King" campaign games with Itakura-san.
The room was bigger than our usual dai-4 kenshushitsu and the tables are so big that two of them are enough to accommodate a regular 40K (Incursion) table. There are so many turn-out in March, that some of us had to wait for a table, though. If we have so many turn-out for 40K games again, I would like to ask people playing something smaller (say, 3' x 3' table) to share a set of tables with us (we use 3' x 2.5' one).

Re: April 19 Nagoya Gaming Day
For 40K we've always been happy to add more players to our 60x44 games to get everyone playing...and we've usually had to because the extra players arrive late
It takes a while to set up a table, deploy and get started so there should be a window where we can reconfigure to free up tables if we have a situation like Sunday where there's many 40K players there early with terrain and large armies. I would always hope we could find a way to get everyone who arrives early enough for the morning session playing something.
11th edition's launch will probably keep 40K player numbers high but if there's still interest in King of the Coliseum (3x3) or Combat Patrol (30x44?) launches strongly there could be more games that fit beside something else on a table.

I think we're going to try our next boss fight in Blackstone in the morning, but I have no solid plans in the afternoon.
