In all fairness, they are 90% chainmail, which is easy to do. Plus, I don't bother with fancy techniques like NMM, Blending or Edge Highlights. Base colour, wash, highlight and done.
That plus spending an unhealthy amount of time at my painting desk.

As for Turnip28, I actually have my last unit in my to-do queue at the moment, so you may be getting a game sooner than you think. (Probably not this month though).

Looking forward to some murky, mucky, grotty, dismal and comically bleak gaming in. Yeah, maybe March-ish.

Turnips! I have not thought of a silly name for this regiment yet. "Sackhead...something" or "something something Blasphemous Apple". I still need to do up some banners and pimp the bases. I might play with some oil washes and give them a bit of pigment rustification as a final touch.

I have had a busy few weeks, so I haven't had much chance to post things. So, here are some GW Grave Guard and a 3d Printed Wight Lord that I did recently.



I'm thinking that I should add some brown wash to the base to give it more depth...

But yes, even I have reluctantly concluded I can't skip the wash step on base texture. Soaks up a lot of Nuln Oil!

I painted 81 models in January, so I'm feeling reasonably good about my 40K backlog (let's not talk AOS or terrain). What I didn't do was figure out an easy way of sharing photos from my phone with the Instagram app uncooperative. Tried Send but didn't find a good option before I got distracted.
