Samurai 28mm

I know there is a Discord but I'm old fashioned.

Samurai Gloy.

Until the bridge at Yedo. And after that.

Samurai with Both Items

Mounted Elite: A samurai on horseback with a horo often wore a sashimono as well to further clarify their allegiance.

Visibility and Identification: The combination of a brightly colored, billowing horo and a fluttering sashimono ensured the warrior was recognized as a significant figure or messenger.

Battlefield Role: These warriors were often found in the vanguard or acting as personal messengers for a Daimyo (e.g., the 50 tsukai-ban of Oda Nobunaga).

While some illustrations suggest that horo-wearing warriors might only use the horo, historical accounts indicate that the two items could be used together, particularly in the later, more flamboyant phases of the Sengoku period.

Cool mini, Ash, well done.

I have some Samurai myself, but I need some messengers with horo for my command stands. One day....

Thanks, Prim. Yes, I was really happy with this one. Fantastic miniatures from Test of Honour. I've ordered some Ronin too.
I actually visited Warlord Games this month and was inspired by their painters display cabinets. Fantastic company. Gave them some good feedback on when we first tried out Black Powder and Hail Caesar all those years ago. They were happy to hear about it.
Where does the time go really.
