Thanks of course to Mike for giving me a game of FOW. It was fun. I should help pitch in and get more scenery for the gaming. The scenery you provide is great. ;)
Thanks to Frans, Mike and Jus for a really epic game of Fantasy. Even though we were unable to finish the game, I thought it was playing out as an epic battle. Maybe with a stricter start time, we can make it work out the next time around. :)

Hey, thanks to every one for another lively Johsin day.

Thanks to one and all for a good day of gaming.
@ Seb - Your list may have been a tiny little bit cheesey (bare minimum troops, 5 tooled up thunderwolves....) but I think I can beat it. I'd like a rematch at some point.
@ Ennui - Strange Aeons was fun, though I call cheese on that werewolf. (twice in 1 day Seb?)  I'll be picking up some figures for it, but apart from the Canadian website I cant find anywhere that stocks the book that wont hammer me for postage.

Thanks to everyone who expressed an interest in Cutlass. I hope to have the models out to you soon. I'll be bringing lots of terrain next time around to get the campaign started.

Actually, it was only beginners luck, if you would have engaged the werewolf in CC with more Agents at the same time you would probably have won due to the number of increased attacks. In the second round Lady Justice and the professor mopped the floor with my werewolf. :D

Had I known that rule, I would have done just that. :D

Thanks for the game of Warmachine, Matt- I found out my choir isn't as great as I thought they were, but they are still great- 3/4 of them killed by their own side, and they still keep singing!

Sorry I couldn't stay to see Strange Aeons, the rules looked fun and easy to learn. Anyway, looking forward to trying Cutlass next month!

You should check out the demo rules set I linked to in the other thread. I'll also find a link to the cult vs cult sister game too.

thanks to kojibear for a great 2000 pointer. He planned accordingly to deal with any ethereal units fielding ALL FOREST SPIRITS, something I really wasn't expecting. The feeling of 60 odd dryads creeping up on you, and not just that, but bringing the frikkin forest with them was really intense. It was all second guessing each other and subtle tactical maneuvers until the chaos started. Although I did manage to get your general, my units were not big enough to sustain loses from crumble. Yeah Wight kings are really awesome but will go down to combat resolution like any other undead (achilles heel much?) Oh and ghouls are pretty nasty too, so watch out. If it went on for another round, I think you would have wiped me out.

The team game was rocking too, until it was time to pack up. Dwarfs and High elves really put the hurt on the vampire magic phase with all the dispel combinations they had going...and the cannons on top of that. Could have gone better for the axis of evil but it was good fun.

p.s NEVER playing dwarfs and high elf combo again!

Should we take that as a sign that you concede victory to the Alliance of Good? :D

It would have been very interesting what would have happened in the following turn. We Great weapon armed High Elves surrounded but strong in the middle of the field. The massive block of beasts with their leaders taking on my block 6-ranked dwarf warrior unit with Lord and Runepriest. We also had your chariot in our backfield, but the Good left flank had out extended the Evil right along with a miner unit that had appeared on the right flank. The battle had reached its climax.... Well maybe we should do this again a few months down the road.
