I too would be up for more diversity but I don't see why all the events can't just run and whoever turns up turns up. We do alright I reckon. As I keep saying I did run regular events in Tsu since 2009 to 2011 and often they were every other month. It was no big deal really, sometimes 4 people attended sometimes 20! I have cut my events down to twice a year now and I was kind of hoping that would open the Mie calender for Kuwana and Yokkaichi so as not to hog the events so to speak. I say put an event on even if you only get one or two people attending that's good and gradually it will increase in number. Off and on at least. As for "It doesn't impinge". Sadly, I think it won't help getting people to attend other places outside of Nagoya to game at. Most people can only game once two or so times a month. So those who attend the Mondo event will almost definitely won't be willing to come to a Mie event.
But seeing that there isn't a regular event down here. I don't think it matters much anyway.
I think Mondo is a great idea especially for rpg and boardgames. Aichi gamers is good for Nagoya but I'm in Mie so that name wouldn't work for me. How about Nagoya City Port of Traps and the Borderlands. That covers everyone and sounds like a Fighting Fantasy novel.
