Thanks to all for the fun wargames, of both the hammer and machine types! After a few games with Tyranids against Space Marines, I have learned their most basic rule: Always run away from Dreadnoughts. Especially psychic ones with jumppacks. Or Flamers.

@job
I also thank you for letting me try out the 8th Ed. Empire :D It seems your Miners swayed the balance a lot letting my spearmen no way to hold their ground.
I've written some fluffs for my army on my website (http://www115.sakura.ne.jp/~asch/wh/img ... htm#empire).
Though 8th Ed. seems to have rewound the timeline, I set the situation in the aftermath of the Storm of Chaos. In the absence of majority of the state troops and established Knightly Orders, Wissenland border patrol fight against raiding enemies, led by Sigmarite Templar. The leader of them is Lady Judith (red-haired one leading Inner Circle,) a widowed mistress inspired by a miracle that the relic (namely the skeleton) of the imperial saint she adores shed tears of blood. The battle wizard is called Lucia. She seems to be one of Bretonnian damsels studying abroad in the Imperial Colleges.
