Wargamers in Japan

Post by dnanoodle » Thu Jul 11, 2013 1:51 pm

Hi guys! Hope you are all well. I was just talking with some guys from Atsugi/Zama and we're setting up events aimed at connecting gamers from all of the gaming groups around Japan. We are going to be having events quarterly and the first of them will be in August. It is going to be centered around attracting new players, running demo games, small/medium 40k battles, and playing a variety of boardgames.

We would love for you Nagoya fellas to be involved in this stuff as well. I'll be posting more regularly here to disseminate information, but the best way to be involved and up-to-date is to join the Wargamers in Japan Facebook group.

Hope to see you guys at some of the upcoming events!

Whoops! I ought to have posted earlier this week. Forgot about it when my internet went out. We're meeting right now if you're interested in hopping in the room. We're meeting through GoToMeeting and the number this time around is 418-885-445 through the application.

No worries if you can't make it. We're meeting every Thursday night at 9pm. Found a couple of new groups last week (one in Chiba, one in Saitama and another in west Tokyo). I'll be sure to post the info for the next one, but it'll be at about 9 when I can get the info up, since the conference rooms aren't permanent.

Just a reminder, this week's meeting is today (Thu) at 9pm. I'll post the meeting code when I get it, or you can find it yourself through the Wargamers in Japan Facebook group

Here's a link to the group.

If that doesn't work for some reason, just search "Wargamers in Japan" in Facebook. It's the only result that comes up. Meeting is tonight at 9pm and the information is already up on the group wall.

I don't use Facebook and I never will. If anyone wants to post up some details of what goes on, it would be appreciated. Thanks.
