Can I generate any interest in a Christmas games day?

Regular (and irregular) events in the Nagoya area can be posted up here. If you want to get your gaming fix, this is the place to look first.

Can I generate any interest in a Christmas games day?

Post by ashmie » Fri Nov 28, 2014 12:05 pm

Those of you around over Christmas can I generate any interest in a games day on the 29th of December?
Nothing booked yet but if I can get at least 4 people I'll book a sizable room at Center Palace Tsu. This can be open to boardgames and wargames respectfully. I'm in the mood for Talisman myself but I'm open to suggestions.
Let me know ;)

Those of you who attended last year, thank you, I have the whole day off this year.

I'm up for gaming over the break, but the 29th is a no go. I'm out to the onsen with my wife's folks.

maybe aye. We're not going anywhere this winter, not even Nagano, so as long as I'm home for christmas day and new year's day, I reckon I can probly sneak out the house for a bit. I shall consult the oracles and see what they say...

Cheers guys. If it's the 29th I know Satoru can join so that would be three of us. We shall see. I'm not on holiday until the 28th. Let me know what other days might suit.

How about the Sunday 21st? Any good?
If so I'll book a space and throw the floor open to whatever you want to play.
No preference for me.

21st is no-no for me. I'm off from about the 24th, but will need that day and christmas for family stuff. After that I'm much free-er for a week and a bit. So, 29th is good for me, or any day around then.

Ok I'll book it for the 29th and confirm when that's done. :)
All welcome, all games.

Thinking of doing a double whammy. Possibly 21st and 29th. So I can't get enough people to join though. :(
It's worth doing with at least 4, so far we have 3. I might just book it and then whoever turns up that's great. There doesn't seem to be a day that suits everyone so I'll think I'll book 21st and 29th if they are available.

With Christmas here I'm hoping to try some interesting boardgames.

I'd love to come to either event, but I'm working on the 21st. Still it would be nice to get a good bit of gaming in during the break.

Edit: As Primarch kindly pointed out, I did mix up the 21st. I am free then but planning to attend the Zengo event instead. Sorry Ash.

Ok I think I'll leave it for this year and try to attend events in Osaka, Kuwana and Nagoya instead. There's so many groups now it would be a lot of energy to collect players to join I reckon. Maybe next year.
