I'm seeing on the Twitters that Gorakuo (the place that hosts the Ichinomiya gaming group) is having a "0th Annual Bunkasai" on Sunday November 12th. I've got my daughter's 7-5-3 that day, but if anyone's interested and in the area it looks like they'll have a lot going on.

Satoru can probably step in with more detailed information, but it looks like they'll have informational tables about minis wargaming, Gunpla and general scale modeling, and demo tables of Warhammer (I don't know which flavor), Bolt Action, and Guild Ball, and tables with intro / participation activities for minis painting, Gunpla, and some things I can't figure out.
If you're in the area, it looks like it might be worth checking out! It's pitched more intro level than many of us would probably be targets for, but at the very least it'd be a cool way to meet new gamers and modelers.
