October 2025 Nagoya Games Day
Hi all,
October's game day will be Sunday the 19th, at e-able in Higashibetsuin, up on the 3rd floor again if my intelligence is reliable. Cost is 500 yen for the day as per usual, and we'll have the room from 9 til 4.
I'll have Blackstone in the morning, and no plans at the moment for the afternoon. If anyone was intrigued by the Titanicus demo last month I'd cheerfully do another, and I also have enough models now to do a nice little Legions Imperialis demo! If nobody bites I'll probably lean towards Spearhead as I haven't played in a minute and my Hedonites got few little buffs.

Anyone want to do something Halloween-y? We used to do a Mordhiem game in October years back. Some Zombie-friendly Frostgrave? I could even dig out Strange Aeons!

If it’s gonna be Frostgrave, I would love to join after a campaign game with Itakura-san. I guess he will, too.

Unfortunately, although I would love to do some Malifaux/Frostgrave/Strange Aeons etc., I am going hiking that day. If it's raining I might be able to come, but it would be short notice.

Yes! Get out and hike while the weather is perfect! Enjoy those indescribably beautiful Japanese autumn days. Write haiku about it! It's too late for me! @asch- I'll check in with Itakura. We could make a 3 way game work.

I contacted him via Twitter and he's on.@asch- I'll check in with Itakura. We could make a 3 way game work.
I am thinking to adapt "Medical Lab" scenario from Quarantine 37 Stargrave campaign into Frostgrave.
To be short, we set up 12 gravestones in 4 x 3 grid on the field, place loot markers next to gravestones. At the end of each turn, each player can make zombie (or undead) challenge nominating one of the gravestones, which is not toppled yet. On a specific number and greater, a zombie comes out of the grave. When we play the scenario 3 way in Stargrave, there were too few zombies compared to the player figures. So we would device the target number or "Dead Rising" table with multiple undead choices. As I scanned my stock, I can prepare 5 tombstones from old Warhammer skeltone box.

Let's do it! I can paint up the rest of the gravestones.asch wrote: ↑Tue Sep 30, 2025 7:18 amI contacted him via Twitter and he's on.@asch- I'll check in with Itakura. We could make a 3 way game work.

How do we do deployment?
My wizard is a Necromancer! I should start in the middle of the graveyard! Muhahahaha!

I'm probably going to attend in the morning. Not sure what (if anything) I'll be bringing with me yet.

You never know what kind of terrors I'll face out there...hungry bears, blisters, land leeches, sunburn... If I were smart, I'd be hiding inside with toys too.Konrad wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 6:14 amYes! Get out and hike while the weather is perfect!
