Joshin June 24th

Regular (and irregular) events in the Nagoya area can be posted up here. If you want to get your gaming fix, this is the place to look first.

Well if there is little interest in fantasy. Maybe we three should do a 2500 or 3000 point game in the afternoon?

When you all say Joshin, do you mean Kid's Land? If yes, do all of their stores host wargaming events? I've only been to the Joshin stores in Nippon Bashi area near Namba (Osaka).

Thanks,

Joshing kids land does not host events some guys in Nagoya rent some space at a joshing kids land. It is horrible place to play compared to a battle bunker.

It's not that bad - sure, it's just a room full of tables, but what more do you really need for wargaming? (other than, y'know, people, armies, dice, etc)
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

Really? You're going to dis on the place the Japanese guys so nicely arrange to rent out and offer us space and has remained the most consistent space and event in all of Chubu to go play war games?

It isn't a battle bunker, maybe but there are no battle bunkers in Nagoya/Chubu. (Does any part of Japan have one?) It is the venue where most of this forum goes to play games near every month or at some time. It is always welcoming and there are lots of nearby hobby stores along with the Town Cryer. I like Joshin.

Anyways, back on topic...

@Prim: I'm playing Underdweller at 40K in the morning so how about a game in the afternoon? A farewell to 5th and all that.
