@ Prim: I want there if you recall.

@ ToD: thanks, I'll keep an eye on Asch's site. It is a nice summary of local events.

Okay, sorry, I just thought you were being terse with me. But Asch's site posted by ToD will be helpful to keep up with events when I can't make it to Joshin.

While the wife is away the Lovejoy shall play. Meaning, I can make it :D Clearly I need to sort out what and who to play though.
Any one for Strange Aeons? (Konrad?) Alternatively I will paint up minis and terrain for Judge Dredd if there are any takers and demo it. It seems to be Necromunda-esque and a quick, brutal play.
Bolt Action or WFB could be a possibility too.

I ought to be there. Gorkamorka anyone?
Also, I just printed out the monstrous tome that is "Gangs of Nu Ork". Anyone who's ever wanted to play Necromunda but hasn't because , "but...but....I wanna be an ELDAR ,", well now you can skirmish away to your pointy-eared, prancing delight. Along with the Boys in Blue, Fishheads, you name it. Everything but 'Nids.
There are Squats even!
Warning, it is very Beta at this stage. The basic moving, shooting rules are just slightly tweaked Necromunda rules, the vehicle rules are slightly more tweaked Gorkamorka/Ash Wastes rules and look pretty smooth.
But there are sooooo many options for races, skills, vehicles types, wargear, etc. it get's quite intricate quite quickly and there is no way it's really been test played for balance.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Want to give it a try? I'll even dial back the completely broken possibilities that seem to exist for Marines.

(RAW, you can get guys with a 1+ armor save that ignores the first -1 of armor save modifier...)

I'll just have to get shotguns and keep knocking you down until I can run up and hit you with a really big axe. :D

What, the 19th? I have ECC Jr that day. I told them I was busy on the 26th so that I could go to Joshin :( I can't make it to Hammercide for the same reason.

I figured "Probably not much gaming in the next few months so might as well make some extra money" Last time I do that!

At least there's Nagoyahammer
