Some potential already then. Anybody else? I often hear Malifaux in connection with games not played enough.
Sure!
I'm interested in Ronin and M&T as well.

I have spare crews if anyone wants to give Malifaux a shot. The game just changed into it's second edition, with (hopefully) more balanced rules and with nice new plastic minis.

Lovejoy wrote:@Job, the idea of the exchange is that I can provide the minis so the other player needn't, its not mandatory of course though. If you have some Dark Age or FIW minis then feel free to use them.
For saga, I'll be making 2 small forces of about 25 men each.
For M&T I ordered some starter sets from the northstar site, each force is 23 minis.
So each game will require around 50 minis. Got to paint them of course!

To get an idea of starter forces for both games, Northstar, who distribute them are worth a look, as are Gripping Beast who make both Saga and m&t.
Well the truth is I have some interest in building a warband for either game. I have some rules Saga Byzantines and I like the warlord French minis. Of course I have nothing against using your minis. Especially before May my painting schedule is prohibitive as I have three armies to paint up.

Which system are you eager to launch into? When do feel you can be ready? (No rush. At your convenience.)

Is there a good time for you to play FoW?

Throwing my hat in, man, I'd love to play any of the games you guys have suggested.

-I quite liked my first foray into Hail Caesar, and it piqued my interest in Black Powder (which I want to play a game or two of at any rate, since I'm putting a force together).
-I do like FoW still, and would love to get some games in.
-I'm up for pretty much any skirmish game, although I haven't heard of any of the ones Lovejoy has on tap, heh. (I mean, I know the Judge Dredd IP, of course, just nuttin' about the game.)

I think I can reign in my tendency to lean towards big games and get smallish demos of either Epic or ASC together that wouldn't take more time than a short 40K game too, and MonPoc is rather quick-playing without any of my help.

So, yeah, up for anything.

I'm up for most games.
I'm currently playing Black Powder and The One Ring rpg.
I'm keen to play anything historical. Flames of war I have a force for.

Anything else I'm happy to borrow minis for the game.

If I ever bought miniatures again I would want to play Pike and Shotte and Infinity.

Hey ToD, maybe we should do a FoW day with Lovejoy, Mike the Pike and Ashmie? You could get in probably a couple of games with our members and I'll loan out all units you need to fill out an American armor list you want to make.

Depending on how you guys would to arrange games, I could try to arrange a room or we could just meet up at a Joshin event.

And of course in return I will play ASC, which I am interested in. (Epic is a given anytime you want.)

@ Ashmie: you'd be welcome to play any FoW I run.

I'm easy, I'll try anything once. My current mania is GW skirmish games. Gorkamorka, Mordhiem (I have an almost "fresh" Undead warband that has seen like two games) and this Gangs of New Ork Necro/Gorka/Mordheim/40K mish-mash is most promising. You can build most any odd-ball 40K force you'd like. Inquisitor with Retinue? easy. Tau diplomats with bodyguard? yep. Cowboy Eldar on Dinosaurs? yippeekay-yay sweetie. Psychic Goblin circus with Kroot beast trainer, dark Eldar trapeeze assassins and insane Necron kill-bot soda dispenser? Hey, that's my idea! Don't steal it!

@ Job, flames of war yep!

@ Lovejoy, bring Songs of ice and fire to Crickhollow in March. The 9th is a Sunday. I'm running the One Ring again but if we don't have many players I'd be happy to play that. I haven't read or seen game of thrones yet so maybe it will inspire. I'll be attending all day. 10 until 9.
Sometimes that's better for the GM if the players are new to the world. Less meta gaming.

@ Stu, Rich and Joseph. Are we still on for a Black Powder marathon next Sunday in Kuwana from 9 or 10?

After I move and know where I'll be living, I'm up for Judge Dredd (I'm probably the only guy on the planet that like the movie). I'll take Stu up on Hail Caeser as well. I'd be willing to try Malifaux or other games as well. Right now, more skirmish oriented is where I would prefer to be.

@Ashmie: Infinity has really caught my eye. Financially, I'm far out from being able to buy a force but if you do get into it let me know, I'd love to try it.

For me, my flavor of choice is Battletech. I've got forces that can be represented for beginners or more advanced players at the Skirmish level (about 4-7 mechs per side).

@Konrad - I'll play some Gorkamorka/Nu Orky gubbins sometime in exchange for one of my games! Looks entertaining and I like games that don't always take the selves too seriously.

@Col Voss - You're not the only guy who liked the Dredd movie an awful lot (although the Stallone early 90s one is bloody awful). Granted if I didn't like the background I would probably find the Dredd movie just reasonable, but I get a kick out of seeing a childhood hero onscreen and have rewatched it a number of times. I will definitely give you a Dredd game sometime when you are settled.

@Ashmie - BP is on next week as far as I'm concerned! I can't make March 9th unfortunately, can't really be playing 2 weekends in a row at the moment. i'll be seeing Mayumi, Louis and the in-laws then. Keen to DM SOIAF rpg sometime though.

Seems like we have a lot of healthy interest for the Reciprocal Gaming Exchange, hopefully we'll see some fixtures and satisfied gamers in the coming months.

Yes, things seem to be moving along here.

@Konrad: I'm interested in playing Gorkamorka or Nu-Ork sometime. If you'd like, I could show you a simple FoW skirmish tank game. Kind of like Gorka morka, but fewer wild contraptions. :D
