Wasted yet another lovely, sunny day rolling dice and couldn't be happier.
Got in a very (very, sorry Job) game of Gorkamorka. The Admech Muties got the drop on "Da 'Erd" and blew up a trakk 1st shot. The survivors bull-charged the cowardly, shoot-'em-in-da-back, gitz, but Job used up all his good dice in the previous Black Powder game. Another two more bestial, bovine, berserkers bit the dust. At that point it was decided that the grazing was better on the other side of the gulch and Da 'erd trotted off in a tactical retreat.

I wish I had time to get into Blackpowder. It really does look pretty once it's set up and I think making casualty markers would be a lot of fun.

And Underdweller, thanks for the Slaine. How did you know that stuff was right up my alley? :D Simon Bisely is a madman. He did a lot of work on Dredd. You should check some of that out. One of my other dream projects is to do a big old Frazetta/Bisely-esque fantasy army full of war-mammoths and marauders. Skulls and spikes everywhere. Everything shaded in red. sigh......

And Mansions of Madness is a lot of fun. An odd hybrid (much like the Innsmouth townsfolk) of computer game and board game. Keeps the board-game vibe, but uses an app to simplify the random events .
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Just call it a hunch ;)

Thanks for the games everyone. We were not so successful in Mansions of Madness as last time. Our enemy cleverly left too many keys around to stop us from completing the mission in time. Next time!

On the upside, Ono-san said that there were a few Japanese Warmachine players in Yokkaichi who want to play/be taught how to play Warmachine. So we could get a few more Warmachine games in.

It was good to see you all. I had two great games of Naps with the Black Powder rules. It was good to also play some Gorkamorka. My beast were led to not quite a slaughter but true beat down. Fortunately the fire on Blue Stallion only improved the paint job. Now I'll have to plan a raid to save Horatio Hornblower. The muties will see hoof; the beasties will have the last neigh!

And thanks Phil for hosting the nice venue. Kuwana is nice always in the fall.
