Dear fellow gamers. Final check for rpg festival.

Regular (and irregular) events in the Nagoya area can be posted up here. If you want to get your gaming fix, this is the place to look first.

They ARE available at Tokyu Hands in both of the Nagoya branches. You can also buy them at Yellow Submarine in Nagoya.

First post updated. Lost a Paul but gained a Pat.

Another player Vincent will join for Shadowrun.

The room I have hired is a function room that provides the standard slippers that fit everyone 50 years ago.
Please bring your own if you feel these would be too uncomfortable.

Apologies

I can't use Google maps it seems. When you get to Tsu station go over the walkway that crosses the traintracks on your left. This will lead you out to the main exit. From here head left past the bus stop. UST building will be right in front of you.

http://maps.google.co.jp/maps?f=q&sourc ... 18&iwloc=A
On this map it's marked as UST in katakana. There is also a MC symbol on the map marking the building even though Mcdonalds is no longer there.

Please call my keitai if you get lost. Number on flier.

To follow up on ashmie's directions:

Come out the EAST exit of Tsu station. The UST building is hard to miss as it's easily the largest building around and is right next to the station.

@Shadowrun players: If you guys can arrive by 10 that'd be great. We can settle who's playing which character, set the scene, and be actually playing by 10:30.

Also, have a peek at the SR thread if you haven't already. I just added brief descriptions to the pregenerated characters.

Looking forward to it! See you on Saturday morning. :D

Just set up a similar thread to Grim's Shadowrun thread.
Details of the PC classes are now available.

Hear ye, hear ye!
Man dressed as priest wanted for questioning in serial arson case!
Olrankan burns as Baroness Falatrice's army aids fleeing civilians!
Hundreds dead as fire ravages city!
Anonymous tip leads murder investigators to old Sky-Mill!
Beloved Father Mulkahi shot dead in front of Prince Orcan's castle by mystery assailant!

Thanks to everyone for a great game of Dark Heresy, in particular I would like to thank Ash for living up to his name and, in true Dark Heresy style, trying to purge everything in sight with fire!

Cheers, I had a great time. I'm looking forward to next year's game. :D

It was absoloutly awesome both days. I had a great time as a playing a crazy cleric with a flamer. The fire was only supposed to create a diversion for the palace guards. Shame it set the whole town alight.
:D
Thank you to the GMs who ran the games both days: Stu, Jesse, Dave and Jon. Everyone really enjoyed your scenarios and had a good time.

It was a good challenge for me to join as a player for a change. I went from burning towns and taking head shots at innocent npcs on the Saturday and feeling no shame whatsoever, loving every minute of it, to playing a Priest on Sunday who took a leg shot at a member of a lynch mob and spent the rest of the game feeling guilty about it. Two very different systems but both great fun and good roleplay challenges.

Thank you to everyone who attended. We had many people join who don't use English as their first language so thank you for that also. We had players from France, Russia, America, Canada, England, Japan and Australia. Thanks for making it work. Everyone did a grand job. It will run again the same time next year. Please everyone who joined tell your friends and bring at least one guest with you next year. Lets make it even bigger and better next time. :)

Before the next 2012 festival though there will be a mini convention on Halloween weekend this year at the same venue. This will be Call of Cthulhu and any other horror rpgs or boardgames people want to play. I'll run Call of Cthulhu. It will be just one day this time.

See you on the other side, :o

Ash.
