I'll try and bring some extra terrain along for folks to play on. Who knows, now I am bringing an extra box, I may be able to squeeze 750 points of something 40k-ish in with it.

Well, I finally got my Tyranids out for a bit of exercise - had a fun time playing in the morning against Koji's Space Marines and fun if rather more painful time being slaughtered by Prim's Chaos Space Marines in the afternoon- anyway I have learned that, at least against large men with invulnerable saves and power fists, it pays to gang up!

I do think that my Carnifex felt pretty stressed being the primary AT in my force, and that I should probably pick up some Hive Guard and/or Zoanthropes one of these days to give him a hand.

I couldn't get there until the afternoon, so I missed almost everyone. I did manage to watch Underdweller's Tyranids take on Prim's Chaos Marines, though.

Today was pretty thin on the ground unfortunately. Still, I managed to play Black Powder, which was excellent and I got in a game of 40k with my Chaos Space Marines picking up their first win.
Thanks to everyone who came and especially Underdweller and Ashmie for being such great sports.

I had a good time getting wiped out by Jus's Witchhunters in Mordheim. I should have ran away when I had a chance, but my warband was just in this totally cool cinematic spot to make a last stand, defending a narrow bridge and everything! I was counting (praying) for my streak of bad luck to break (it didn't) his atrocious luck to last one more turn(it didn't). oops. Post game saw me loose 2 heros, including my leader and so I think I'll just try again with a new warband.
