I'm bringing Mordheim. I don't really have enough miniatures for another warband though. Did you get hold of those Skaven yet? It would be my Amazons vs a bizarre conglomeration of other amazons, goblins and zombies. I do have enough griibblies for Strange Aeons, and my Mordheim terrain would work fine for it.

Sounds good. I'll go read a read a bit of HP to get into the mood.
What I have been reading, is a pile of Robert E. Howard for the first time since I was 12. Suprisingly "Lovecraftian" actually. A very fatalistic, bleak tone runs through much of his writing. The sorcery is all primordial evil dredged up from pre-human ages. Just that instead of going mad while awaiting certain doom like the main character in a Cthulu story, Conan chops off the primordial evil's head, shags the sacrifical victim, and heads off looking for new frontiers to pillage with a laugh. How many points for a Conan in my investigator team?

Lovecraft and Howard were buds and borrowed elements, names and characters from each other all the time! Every team in SA has a Character, who is the baddest ass on the team, and you can give him hand to hand and fearless skills as he gets stronger.

@tenoribear: hey mate, I hope your preparations are going well! I know I'm trying to get my table top pieces ready by joshins. Have you decided on a points limit?

Let's do 1500, so long as you permit me to have some unfinished models in one of my units. I've been too slammed with work to get all my glade guard assembled.

1500 it is. It will be a battle for the ages! (kinda)

No worries about the unfinished models, look forward to seeing them anyhow.

I can scrape together a few pieces of terrain. Do you have a battle mat/grassy table cloth?

No, I don't have any grassy battle mats. (Any idea where to get one?)

You can order a nice GW Matt through Ikeda-San. He'll give you 10% off the Japanese GW price.
