No worries, I think I can scrape together a force for 500.

I would like to play a few games and use a few armies. We could do 1200 if we play a few more games before then so we can get a good grip on the rules.

Sounds good! As for tables, we can get by on 1/2 a table for Warmachine, so if there are a couple of other players (Prim and/or some of the Japanese guys) we could share a table.

Correction - I can play either 500pts with just orks (which should work okay) or 1000pts using a substantial marine contingent (which won't be a wonderful list, since it seriously lacks both scoring and denial units).

Side Note - Is there a good place to buy carrying cases in Japan? What do you guys use to carry your armies?

I use a company called KR Multicases. You can order their standard carrying cases from http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php in the UK and get them fairly cheaply. They also do customised army cases if you need that kind of thing.

Or Ikeda san can get you some GW cases.
